JOHN W. FORD
CEO
Chairman of the Board
John founded Insight Investments, LLC in 1987, and continues to
grow the company through his foresight and keen understanding of
industry trends. He began his career working for a venture backed
telecommunications startup company and later distinguished himself
in the National Accounts Division of IBM.
As CEO and Chairman of the Board of Insight Investments, LLC, John focuses on areas of management and growth, emphasizing to clients, employees, and vendors the absolute importance of long term thinking in preserving lasting business partnerships. His strength is anticipating technology changes and positioning the company to take advantage of them.
John has a B.S. from University of California, Santa Cruz and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University where he graduated with honors. He has four children, one grandson, and is an active member of Legatus.
RICHARD M. HEARD
President
Richard Heard is President of Insight Investments, LLC and holds a seat on the Board of Directors. He has been with Insight Investments, LLC since its inception in 1987. Throughout his tenure spanning more than two decades, Richard has been directly involved in every aspect of the business. His executive and financial leadership has been instrumental in the evolution, nationwide growth and overall success of the company. Today Insight Investments, LLC is the premier choice for businesses seeking support in managing the financial acquisition, implementation and service of Information Technology solutions. Under Richard's direction, the company's three divisions have embarked on a course that is successfully solving many of the most pressing IT product, services and financing needs. The company has been honored with several high profile partner awards for quality and customer service, has achieved many technology excellence standards including ISO 9001:2008 certification, and continues to grow at record rates. Richard holds a B.S. in Economics and an MBA and is married with two children. In June of 2011 Richard was named the Ernst & Young Entrpreneur of the Year for Private Companies in Orange County, CA.
DAVID WANG
Chief Financial Officer
David joined Insight Investments, LLC in 2006 with nearly 15 years
of experience in finance/operations.
As Chief Financial Officer of Insight Investments, LLC David oversees Insight's accounting and finance efforts. He also develops and maintains relationships with investors and lenders. Prior to his appointment to Chief Financial Officer, David served as Vice President of Strategic Planning.
Prior to Insight Investments, LLC David worked for Lehman Brothers' Investment Banking Division where he focused on M&A and corporate finance. He has also worked as a logistics manager / process engineer for Procter & Gamble.
David received a B.S in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. David is married with two children.
LORI GABRIELLI
Executive Director of Marketing
Lori joined Insight Investments in 2009 with more than 20 years
experience covering sales, marketing, finance, program management,
sales coverage strategies and business development. Lori has spent
her entire career in technology. Prior to joining Insight
Investments, she held positions at StorageTek and Sun Microsystems.
Her career has paved a course through the high tech market and
includes experience in customer care, analysis and solutions.
Lori received a B.A. in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach and has studied in the Executive Programs at the Graduate School of Business in Customer Loyalty at both Harvard University and Notre Dame University.
Lori resides in Southern California with her Husband, Golden Retriever and two horses.
ROB COTTER
VP of Engineering
Chief Technical Officer
Rob joined Insight Investments, LLC in September 2005 as Director
of Engineering for the Integrated Systems division of Insight
Investments, LLC and was quickly given the additional
responsibilities of internal technology as Chief Technical Officer
for all of Insight Investments, LCC. He has over 20 years
experience in storage hardware and software, networking, systems
architecture and engineering. Prior to joining Insight Integrated
Systems, he was vice president of system engineering at NuView,
Inc. where he oversaw enterprise-level storage architecture
solutions for customers worldwide.
Before NuView, Rob worked at Network Appliance leading the system engineering team for the Southwest region in growing the storage business from $27M to $90M.
In addition to his experience managing the vendor-side of storage and networking technology, Rob has also served in IT management roles directing the architecture and operations of large IT infrastructures focusing on "productizing" infrastructure services to increase availability while decreasing operational costs.
Rob has a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.S. from University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from University of California at Los Angeles. He is married with two children.
ROBERT FLANNERY
Senior Vice President - National Sales
Rob Flannery is the Senior Vice President of National Sales for the
Insight Integrated Systems division. Rob brings over 12 years of
sales and sales management to the business. Insight Integrated
Systems also known as IIS strives to always be ahead of the curve,
ready to anticipate changes, and respond to the needs of our
customers. Rob's successful track record, extensive knowledge of
the industry and rewarding customer/partner relationships has
proven to be extremely valuable to IIS and more importantly to the
sales team that reports to him. Before joining IIS Rob was the
Director of Sales for CA and a District Sales Manager at EMC.
DEBRA HEMBREE
Vice President Solutions Delivery
As a recognized technology-change leader, Mrs. Palacios possesses
rich expertise in business process re-engineering, strategic
systems planning and development, information systems management,
application development life-cycle management, major program /
project management, and customer relationship management.
Prior to joining Insight in 2010, she held several senior IT leadership positions in a wide variety of industries, including banking, retail, healthcare services, and IT consulting. Most recently, Mrs. Palacios played a major role in managing a portfolio of IT service offerings focused on delivering business intelligence, B2B and B2C Web delivery strategies, and application development services on behalf of a major West Coast technology consulting firm.
As vice president of the Program Management Office at DHL Worldwide, Mrs. Palacios was responsible guiding DHL Americas and DHL Canada through major business and IT transformation programs. Prior to DHL, she provided IT solutions delivery on behalf of Alliance Consulting to organizations such as Wells Fargo Bank.
Mrs. Palacios is a certified Project Management Professional and well-versed in IT best practices such Information Technology Infrastructure Library, or ITIL. She is a member of Arizona State's Global Advisory Board - Fulton School of Engineering as well as an active member of Women in Technology International and the Phoenix Chapter of the Project Management Institute.
